Artist Fund Cycle 4

The Artist Fund project was originally planned to run for twenty months (01st June 2021 – 31st December 2022). With two six-month extensions with cost, one time each in 2022 and 2023, the project was extended to 30 months to the end of 2023. This project is led by Inclusive Systems Myanmar (ISM) and is co-financed by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of Switzerland in Myanmar. The project has been and is mainly implemented by two partners: Pansodan Arts Gallery from July 2021 to December 2021 and the Association of Myanmar Contemporary Arts (AMCA) from February 2023 to December 2023.

Three cycles of the Artists Fund have been completed successfully, and now it is time to introduce Cycle 4. The objective for this cycle is to support a safe and efficient workspace for local artists and art communities, nurture young artistic talent, develop the local art scene through historical analysis and exploration of current and future prospects, and establish international connections while archiving and recording local art history for the learning of future generations.
