The Bridge: Episode 1 (July)

The second program of AMCA Webinar Series—The Bridge: Building Capacity & Bridging Communities—aims to foster collaboration and connection, helping artists build their artistic capacity and forge meaningful connections with other creatives.

In the first episode of The Bridge, we're thrilled to welcome Mio Yachita, a research and curatorial fellow from Ainu National Museum, to lead us on a fascinating exploration of "Indigenous Art Practice & Knowledge in the Contemporary World." She will share her rich experiences of working together with minority indigenous communities and their endangered cultures. This insightful session will also delve into the contradictory of innovation and conservation on the issue of cultural appropriation vs cultural appreciation.

This session will be conducted in English and live Burmese interpretation will be available for the audience.

Register before 7:00 PM on July 27, 2024.

Designed to empower artists on their artistic journeys, AMCA Webinar Series are brimming with valuable insights for those looking to expand their horizons and gain international exposure. It's an unmissable chance to learn, be inspired, and take your artistic career to the next level!
